Today we had our 2 week doctor appointment with Dr. Cox. Everything went well, aside from the blood drawing from the heel. Poor Nana....and Jeremy! My mom took us to our appointment. I held Jeremy while they pricked his little heel for blood. I surprisingly held good composure, Nana on the other hand was a mess! His little cry just broke our hearts and they had to prick him twice. He survived it though. He's gaining weight like a good little boy and doc says he looks awesome!

Hey Kim, do you go to Dr. Cox at Families First Pediatric?? That's where I take my kids and I absolutely love that whole clinic! Cox is awesome!! Just wondering if it was the same dr. cox.

Yep, I'm a wuss, can't help it. Those darn nurses that have to poke him twice. Can't they get it the first time? What's wrong with them? Don't they know what they're doing? Haven't they been trained better than that? Who's their trainer? Shouldn't they practice on oranges longer til they get it right? How did they get their nursing degree ANY WAY? Don't you think they should have their OWN heel poked a dozen times and then squeeze it for 10 minutes until it hurts like the dickens and see how it feels?
